Celebrating 100 years of Service (August 2010)
In recognition for 100 years of service we honor La Mott Fire Company No. 1. Fall of 2010 commemorate the 100th anniversary of the La Mott Fire Company. The members of the station and township officials will celebrate this occasion on October 23rd at the Lulu Country Club.
La Mott visits Home Depot (April 2010)
On a sunny saturday morning the La Mott members took off to the Home Depot to promote fire safety and engage the with community.
Easter Egg Hunt with La Mott (March 2010)
It was a great day for an egg hunt and the members of La Mott were there to add to the fun. Giving tours of the engine and letting the kids sit in the driver seat! Thanks to all who came out.
Training at the County Fire Grounds (November 2009)
The La Mott crew gathered at the Montgomery County training grounds to practice skills and teamwork. Members of neighboring stations 3 and 5 joined in to assist.
La Mott at the Cheltenham Mall (November 2009)
Some of the members of La Mott took the engine over to the Cheltenham Mall and had a table set up to distribute info and promote fire safety awareness. It can be as simple as reminding folks to check the batteries in the smoke detectors!
